How to be a good Teacher

Undoubtedly, education is one of the most important factors shaping a society. However, sometimes we do not get the right education.

We will focus the conversation on the following questions:

  1. Do you think it is necessary to have a vocation to become a teacher or is it a skill that can be learned?
  2. Do you have a teacher who marked a before and after in your student life? What qualities did he or she have?
  3. Have you ever felt humiliated by a teacher’s reprimand? Did he or she apologise later?
  4. One of the problems is that we tend to think of teachers as encyclopaedias. Is this a widespread notion or does it depend on your personal judgement?
  5. Do you think teachers learn as well as teach? Or is there an end to knowledge?

Music influences you and your brain, making you feel different emotions.

We will focus the conversation on the following questions:

  1. Is there any music that makes you happy? And sad?
  2. Do you think music can change your mood? In which ways?
  3. Do you believe that any kind of music can make you dance?
  4. In your opinion, is there good and bad music?
  5. What song could you listen to every day of your life? Why?

Here we leave you some vocabulary you can use during the talk:

  • Right hemisphere: the right half of the cerebrum. Region of the brain concerned with sensation and perception, motor control, and higher level cognitive processes.
  • Motor coordination: the capacity to coordinate muscle activity in a way that keeps posture intact.
    Brain chemistry: the totality of the brain’s chemical communication, which enables it to do its daily tasks.
  • Neuroscience: branch of the life sciences that focuses on anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, or molecular biology of nerves and nervous tissue.
  • Dopamine: brain chemical that functions as a neurotransmitter and makes a person feel satisfied.
  • Misunderstood: wrongly or imperfectly understood. Not sympathetically appreciated.
  • Detachment: the feeling that you have of not being personally involved in something or of having no emotional interest in it.
  • Soothing: having a calming, assuaging, or relieving effect.
  • Counterpart: another person or thing that has a similar function or position in a different place.

How to Become an Actor

The acting career is very difficult, it is a very complicated field in which to achieve success, but this video explains and helps you how to get started.


We will focus the conversation on 
the following questions:

  1. Have you ever dreamed of being an actor or actress? Would you like to be one? Why?
  2. What advantages do you think it would have to dedicate yourself to this profession?
  3. What disadvantages do you think it would have to dedicate yourself to this profession?
  4. What personal characteristics do you think you should have to be a good actor?
  5. Do you think that having talent you can succeed in this field? What factors are involved in succeeding as an actor?
