When we think about New Year, we tend to think about reuniting with our family. But in other parts of the world it may be a little different.

We will focus the conversation on the following questions:

  1. Do you like the idea of having a 15 day celebration of New Year’s Eve?
  2. Do you have ties with someone from a different culture than your own?What do you reckon about the differences?
  3. What do you think about the Chinese tradition of dedicating each year to a different animal?
  4. Would you like experiencing The Rosh Hashanah? Why?
  5. Can you account for the resemblances between Nowruz and Christian Christmas?

LinkedIn started as a job search and recruitment platform and from there it evolved into an amazing place for businesses from all corners of the globe to come together in the same places

We will focus the conversation on the following questions:

  1. Do you have a Linkedin profile? What do you use it for?
  2. Do you think it is a useful social network? Why?
  3. Do you find it difficult to deal with this particular platform?
  4. Do you think this kind of platforms really fulfill their purpose of helping you find a job?
  5. What other benefits (apart from finding a job) do you think you could have by opening a profile in this kind of business networks?

  • To launch: start or set in motion (an activity or enterprise).
  • Like-minded: having similar tastes or opinions.
  • A networking platform: a piece of technology or software that connects users with other members of a community to create mutually beneficial opportunities
  • A brand: a type of product manufactured by a particular company under a particular name.
  • Recruiters: a person whose job is to enlist or enrol people as employees, in the armed forces, or as members of an organization.
  • Corporate sales: sales done from one business to another. They are also called business-to-business sales
  • To optimize: make the best or most effective use of (a situation or resource).
  • Connection request: a request from the Customer to connect the Proposed Supply Point Premises to Cadent’s network
  • To endorse: declare one’s public approval or support of.
  • First level connections: People you’re directly connected to because you have accepted their invitation to connect, or they have accepted your invitation

We will focus the conversation on

  1. What emotions does Van Gogh’s art transmit to you? Why?
  2. Do you enjoy art? If so, in which ways?
  3. Do you consider Van Gogh an artist that was ahead of his time?
  4. Do you like visiting museums to appreciate art? Have you visited any in particular?
  5. Do you have a favourite painting? Describe it and what makes you feel.
